間 – Expressing Continuous Action or State
👉 間 is used to show that something continues throughout an entire time span.
📌 Basic Structure
[Event or Time Period] + 間 + [Continuous Action / State]。
映画の間、寝ていました。✅
Eiga no aida, neteimashita. → I was sleeping during the whole movie.
映画の間、立ちました。🚫
Eiga no aida, tachimashita. → Incorrect!
Momentary actions like standing up are too short to match.
